Una data da segnare in agenda per produttori, investitori e stakeholders dell’universo vino: domani a Milano presso il Padiglione EU dell’Expo. In questa giornata, infatti, si svolgerà un convegno tra i più importanti dell’anno sulle misure europee adottate nei confronti del mondo vitivinicolo.

Esperti ed operatori del settore, imprenditori ed importatori internazionali, faranno luce sulla reale efficacia dei provvedimenti e sulla politica da privilegiare in seno all’Europa, conciliando esigenze di tutela rispetto alla concorrenza con la promozione dell’eccellenza e delle tradizioni del territorio.
Nel dettaglio, l’incontro del 23 ottobre, intitolato Competitività del vino in Europa e organizzato direttamente dall’Unione Europea, sarà l’occasione per mettere a fuoco punti di forza e debolezza della Comunità Europea nonché le principali tendenze nel consumo di vino.

Un focus sull’evoluzione delle politiche del vino in Europa, ma anche sulle prospettive dei produttori, le trasformazioni in corso relativamente a produzione e vendita nei differenti mercati mondiali e l’analisi delle aspettative dei consumatori stranieri. A tessere la complessa trama della competitività del vino europeo Jesùs Zorrilla, capo Direzione Generale Agricoltura e Sviluppo rurale della commissione europea, Jean Marie Barillère, Presidente di CEEV e UMC, Juan Park, Direttore ricerca del Wine Intelligence Ltd, Troy Christensen, CEO di Entroia Wineccellars Co. UK, Wang Xiaofeng, importatore di vino in Cina, Sara Jane Evans, Presidente Institute of Mastersin Wine. A moderare l’incontro Davide Gaeta, Università di Verona.
A guidare gli interlocutori in questa doverosa riflessione Davide Gaeta, docente di Agribusiness alla Facoltà di Economia dell’Università di Verona, ma anche co-proprietario dell’Azienda Eleva nella Valpolicella Classica, in grado quindi di leggere entrambe le facce della medaglia. A partire da una considerazione: “L’intervento da parte dell’Unione Europea – dichiara Gaeta – non è solo finanziario; è anche e soprattutto un riferimento strategico di politica economica per il futuro del settore; per questa ragione il dibattito che ci attende tra attori ed operatori del sistema internazionale sarà un’ottima occasione da cui desumere informazioni e proposte ”.
